Val Kilmer and HelMel Studios invite lovers of art and the bold, exuberant glam rock aesthetic to be enveloped by the confectionary art of ‘GLAM’ from artist Tamie Adaya. Inspirationally, the GLAM series are love letters to a more flamboyant and celebratory period of music and fashion that Tamie feels is missing from this more austere and conservative moment. Formally, they draw equal inspiration from the Pop artists of the 1960s, the Neo Pop and conceptual language artists of the 1980s and the wildly camp, eyeliner-and-lipstick glitter style ushered in by glam musicians on both sides of the Atlantic.
